Had an interesting email from Tesco.
Open a new Fixed rate saver or internet saver direct by 29/2/24. Have a minimum balance of £2000 by 2 April 2024 and you will be given 4000 extra clubcard points (worth £40 in tesco but more for rewards). If you shop in Tesco that is worth 2% on a £2000 balance, plus you could close an internet saver account as soon as the bonus is in and APR wise it is even better.

So open an internet saver with £1, top up to £2k for a few days at the beginning of April. Seems like very little damage for the points. Is this a targeted offer, or open to all? I see nothing on the website as yet.

Great offer, I had a look around to see if I could apply but nothing found.0

I recall a similar offer a number of years ago. It was very simple excepting that it was a paper voucher that needed to be scanned at Tesco to convert it into points to be spent at a later date. Perhaps things have changed

Whatever your plans are for 2024, why not start with 2,000 extra Clubcard points worth £20

Same here. £20 for 200.1

I've not received anything but then again I've never given Tesco my email. Why do you give it to them? Maybe that's related to who gets what offer??I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. It's a requirement when opening an account. OP probably already has or had one

Alternatively, existing Tesco Bank customers are probably more likely to have supplied their email address than non-banking Clubcard holders, for example....2 -
I do my shopping at Tesco online using my clubcard. So, obviously they have my email address to send me order confirmations, receipts etc. But I've not had an email about this latest offer.
I was also asked to complete a Tesco Bank customer satisfaction questionnaire where I gave them a very low score for just about everything.......perhaps they've taken offence at my response.1 -
