Regulation 34 of The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation etc... ) Regulations.

This regulation covers the rules for reimbursement after a consumer cancels a contract under regulation 29.
34(6) says: "Otherwise, the time is the end of 14 days after the day on which the trader is informed of the consumer’s decision to withdraw the offer or cancel the contract, in accordance with regulation 44" [my bold for emphasis]
Perhaps I'm having a senior moment, but can anybody tell me what the reference to regulation 44 means? That regulation is about complaints and seems to be wholly unconnected to the payment of refunds.
Is it simply a typo or am I missing something that ought to be blindingly obvious?

I think you're referring to an old version of the regulations (the original 'made' one?) - the current one has amended the cross-reference to regulation 32:(6) Otherwise, the time is the end of 14 days after the day on which the trader is informed of the consumer's decision to withdraw the offer or cancel the contract, in accordance with regulation [F132].https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/3134/regulation/34

F1Word in reg. 34(6) substituted (with application in accordance with reg. 1(2) of the amending S.I.) by The Consumer Contracts (Amendment) Regulations 2015 (S.I. 2015/1629), regs. 1(1), 7

Thank you.
So it's both a senior moment and blindingly obvious!
(Doh! I knew I should have checked I was looking at the latest version. Blast!)1 -
Interestingly - if you look at the DRAFT regulations - it refers to 31, suggesting a typo (which has presumably since been corrected).
