Only if the solicitor's bank charges for that on the account concerned!

I've had two inheritance payments, both over 8 years ago, and in both cases the solicitor did a bank transfer.35har1old said:

Just to say the cheque cleared okay yesterday. Thanks for all the replies.BarGin said:I've just paid it into my Santander account using the outside cash machine as the branch was closed.
