Buying House Found 5 Year Old Parking CCJ - Ignore or Set Aside+Pay

Good advice from @troublemaker22 and I would add that you want to know when and to where the original claim form was sent.troublemaker22 said:OP, unless you’ve decided to ignore she CCJ knowing it will fall away in a year’s time anyway, you should phone the court again and ask them to email you the particulars of claim. Be firm but polite and stay on the line until the email is sent. Be sure to ask for the particulars of claim which the court has - not the claim form. If you call at 8.30 sharp you should be answered fairly quickly.2 -
Apologies for the lack of response, I've been unwell for a couple of days.
Thanks all for your responses, I'll ask for the particulars of the claim just to check how bogus it might be.
I'm probably leaning towards option 1 though - I've heard similar to what @kotters said about satisfied vs unsatisfied not having much of a difference.
I'm guessing contacting the court about this again won't be likely to trigger anything that would cause extensions/contact. Just as long as I don't contact the parking firm right?0 -
Yep it's fine to ask for the POC to be emailed. Also ask verbally 'exactly when and to which exact address was the original claim form sent and was it posted first or second class?'
Don't ask for 'the claim form'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
