Looking to buy a new chest freezer - need some advice please

My current chest freezer is about 20 years old and it's not at all
efficient compared to new models, the compressor is also starting to
sound a bit strange of late, therefore I think it's time for a few one.
Which manufacturers make them to be good, reliable and long-lasting,
also preferably with good customer service? Or do such things not exist
in these short lifespan, throwaway times?
To add to the above - I don't want anything flashy with regards to controls and/or displays, no remote control or monitoring needed either; my current Skandiluxe only has a simple 'fast freeze' button and that's good enough.

I bought a simple chest freezer 12 years ago & have had no problems. Bought via Alexander Appliances Direct. No idea of their current models but as they supply commercial outlets they should have a good range. Make is Vestfrost (Danish make) there was no extra charge for delivery.
I bought on the advice of a family member who had a butcher's shop. Came with a 5 year warranty & I would not go anywhere else come the day I need a replacement (assuming the current one does not outlive me)

Thanks. Any other suggestions from anyone with a reliable chest freezer?

I have a Haier, so far so good but only 3years in. It was the cheapest I could find that was suitable for use in an unheated room.1

We got a Bush medium sized chest freezer about 7/8 years ago (can't really remember). Still going fine. It's sat at the top of the cellar stairs. I've yet to have to defrost it, although I have had to chip some of the ice away near the top on occasion.0

Where will the chest freezer go, e.g. an outbuilding like a garage?0

I have the cheapest one I could get at the time - a lowry, which was £99, they're up to about £150 now. It's rated for outbuilding use, but I've never kept it there. Working fine for six years including a house move. I do defrost it annually (just did it this year, perfect weather for storing food outside) but it's a 20 minute job that I don't mind doing. No idea about customer service as I've never had to contact them. It has a light to show its on and a temperature dial and that's about it.
I think that even in this throwaway culture, basic chest freezers have been perfected enough that it's hard to go wrong - or those of us who picked the cheap ones have been incredibly lucky!0 -
I have a whirlpool one, just over 10 years old, lives in my uninsulated shed, has tolerated -5 and up to 35, seems happy enough.0

I’ve got a Lec CF100LMk2_WH Chest Freezer, it says “it can be placed outside of your home in a shed or outbuilding as long as the area is water tight”. (Mine is in an outside unheated shed).
“If the power is lost, the freezer has a save time of 30 hours.” (good as we suffer with power cuts).
Also good energy efficiency “with an estimated annual electricity consumption of just 168 kWh. It's considered a quiet model, with a noise output of 41 decibels”.0
