Two accounts with Chase

I have two accounts with Chase and am thinking of using one for a switch to TSB. Will this work or will it somehow shut down both my Chase accounts?

It should only shut down the account, which details you provide.

I've done this with the a second chase account (not to TSB). The Chase debit card remained linked to the first account, so you should swap the account that's not linked to the card. When asked if the account you're switching from has a debit card, you can just state you have no card with the account.

Can all the switch offers be used with multiple accounts of Chase?

    Yes.

Just make sure you never close down your last account with Chase, as otherwise they then won't allow you to open a new one. If you always have at least one open, then you can keep opening new ones.

I tried doing this with Lloyds. But as far as I can see their switching process has no option to say there is no card with the account.

I could always move the card to associate it with the account I'm switching from but then I would lose it in the switch.

    I've done 4 switches on a chase 2nd account.

    Nationwide (£200), RBS (£200), Coop (£100 + £50) and TSB (£125 + £10/month for 6 months).

Just waiting on the £50 coop and £125 tsb.

Very easy to do, just open new account in app and unless they actually require a card number don't link your card in the app amd just use the no card option.

If they really do want a card, link it, use that account for spending, then when switch goes through the card automatically reverts to your other account.

Ah, that's the crucial point I didn't know. I had feared that the card would be cancelled as a result of the switch, since Loyds appear not to have a "no card" option. Are you sure of this? Have you experienced this yourself, or can give a reference  about this from Chase themselves?

no need to messing up with debit card at all; just leave it linked to main account as it doesn't really matter at all (talking from experience - switched secondary account and gave detail of my debit card linked all the time to my primary account)

You're not actually giving the real PAN of the physical debit card in any case if you're using the details from the app (and there's no option for "I have a debit card, but I don't know its number"*). It's also worth knowing that if you have a Chase Saver or Roundup Account open Chase will block a CASS transfer if you only have 1 current account.
*there are various ways of finding it out, but I definitely wouldn't use those details on a CASS form
