These are what they sent to the IAS
The second "sign" is a stock image held on a computer, not an image of a sign at the site. You can tell because there ore no screw-holes. It's something else to put in the back pocket in case of a court claim so you can put the claimant to strict proof it is a true representation of signs at the site, and that said signs were in place at the material time.

  • Yes, agree a stock image, I asked the question before the Operator went to Adjudication, but again ignored by the IAS in the final report. I presume this is the T&Cs for the car park as the T&C board the operator ringed a distance away from my car is just a white board.

Picture is what the Operator submitted

Evidence to support the widely-held belief that the IAS is a crock of smelly stuff, as if we didn't already know!  I had a similar one with another ex-clamper firm 2 years ago, where the sign really was completely (and I mean completely) white from sun bleaching.  Of course the IAS ignored that.  Apparently - in their cloud cuckoo moneymaking land -  contracts can be formed from a blank white board, on a shed round a corner.

Their recent Annual Report doesn't even say how many IAS adjudications were found in favour of appellants.

Begs the question: has it actually got worse than the woeful 5% average they boasted in three preceding years?

Maybe the IAS didn't want the DLUHC and us lot to see their stats this time so they just buried them? And they pulled the previous ones too.

Maybe they actually think the IAS has longevity?! LOL!  Well ... one wonders what was going through their heads, due to this sudden company set up in July:

You won!  No apology from the IPC on behalf of its member?

Well done for piling on the pressure!

Do stick around for the final Public Consultation to finalise the statutory regime to sort put the rogues.  Date not known but now we are several months past the Autumn 'Call for Evidence', the next stage to push the new Code through must be expected soon.
