Changing The Way I Pay My Gas & Electric
I rent a property and am wondering how i would go about changing the meters from pre payment to ones were i receive a bill each month. I asked the landlord about the meters when i first moved and asked how do we pay for gas and he said it was pre payment but it's upto me how choose to pay.
How would i go about changing this and getting a credit meter?

Contact your current utility company and ask them to go on a credit tariff.
They might be reluctant if they have no credit history for you - or you have a poor credit record - as it obviously costs money to change the meters.
If you offer to pay a deposit, it might help.0
