Copy will - notice to persons prejudiced
Hi,
I was hoping someone here may be able to answer some questions for me please.
We are in the process of proving a copy will and have reached the stage where probate registry have requested a notice to persons prejudiced. Our solicitor forwarded the relevant paperwork by special delivery to the 2 persons potentially prejudiced on 21st December last year. My question is, is there a specific timescale given to them to respond if they object?
Also am I right in assuming that if there is no response from them then that is treated as no objection?
Everything else is in place and we are just waiting on this, so I was looking for any guidance if anyone is able to help please
Many thanks in advance
Pip

I don't think that is the case otherwise prejudiced people who no longer have the mental capacity to respond would be disinherited unfairly. Time to ask your solicitor what happens if you get no response.1

Best to ask your solicitor, surely? We don't know what they said in their notices to the relevant parties, perhaps they did state a time limit.1
