I'm signed off work for a few weeks with stress, Im thinking I might just need to leave the job altogether

I am also technically self-employed so I'm thinking of trying to get some work in while Im inbetween jobs.

But I thought about signing up with UC in the event I dont have much work (which is quite likely).
I filled in a calculator and it said I could get around £900 a month, which is way more than I was expecting.

I put me estimated earnings down as £300pm as I dont want to get my hopes up too much (but hopefully will be more than that)

Bear in mind my rent is £600 and I live on my own.

Does that sound about right? would I just need to get a fit note from the doctor to explain why I left my job?
