ordered items in october. No communication from this company and I have never received items.Every time I get through to company they promise they will deal with the matter and refund money.Very disappointed that I have been completely ripped off.:mad:has anyone else had problems with this company?

• I had the same problem. ordered Items in Decemebr and never received.
If you call the company they say "delivery next day" even after 1 month you are calling every day.
If you send the complaint by email they never reply.
Now I cancelled the order and asked I refund. This is 2 weeks ago, I call every day and nobody everybody says it has been processed. But I asked them to send it by email and never had a reply.
I want to know if there is any legal action I can take against this company?
Thanks, Ricardo

Presumably you paid by credit card?

If so, call your CC company and ask them to refund you given the promised refund hasn't materialised.

• I orderd goods from sportscentredirect in early February. Numerous phone calls failed to produce a consistent response. They were either "in the post" or "being dispatched the next day".
The Distance Selling Regs state that if the goods have not been received by the customer within 30 days of the order they must return payment within 30 days.
I have spoken with Dorset Trading Standards and they advised that I send a letter, by registered post, stating that the original contract is no longer valid and give them a cut off time for a refund. If I still haven't had a refund they will investigate.
Here are their details;
Consumer Adviser
Tel: 08454 04 05 06
Email: enquiries@consumerdirect-southwest.gov.uk
• Following the registered letter sportscentredirect still didn't come up with a refund so I had a chat with Barclays, it was their debit card used to purchase the goods. All they required was evidence that I had taken reasonable steps to get a refund. The money is now back in my account and sportscentredirect, or JASports or whatever they are calling themselves now are under investigation by Barclays Debit Card Fraud Department......

If only I had seen this forum before my friend managed to place a £250 + order with them for a complete kit for 15 people. Advised as a 5 to 7 day delivery which has now been promised on special delivery before 1 p.m today and surprise surprise it has not materialised. After googling them and finding numerous complaints it looks very much like its a scam website. They most certainly have staff constantly lined up to lie and defraud you. Please do not deal with this company unless you want to give your money to them for no goods in return. I will be reporting them to the police as I truly believe they are dishonest fraudsters and have seen nothing of them to prove me wrong.
• I've seen this company slated for non delivery on a Kids Footy forum so the problems seem to be widespread
It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical

Did you pay by card?
• My Company agreed to sponser a local football team and was given the price of £1000 for a kit and training tops and gave our PO, on reciept of there invoice my accounts dept sent a cheque and was told the kit would be with us (as was the club) within ten days for the start of the season... it never arrived, I was then promised after ringing them that it would be there for the fri, one day before the first game of the season... it never arrived, on a further four occaisions we were promised delivery dates that never materialised. I personally rang Sports Centre Direct and threatend legal action and was told it was our fault as we should of paid two months earlier. On advising this paticular quarter wit (half wits are over quilified to work there) that we only recieved their invoice on the 12th Aug he said "why do you need a invoice to pay for a kit" !!! Anyway 4 games into the season gone the kit arrived... minus the goalkeepers kit ! Do not use this company of deciept and broken promises, they have no right to trade and the law is wrong to allow them to !
