I have always been a fan of cherry keyboards & mice. They seem to do the job reliably and last. Not too noisy either! I do stick with wired though as find the bluetooth ones are not so reliable and the mouse in particular can be juddery.
Not money saving, but these are the best keyboards.
Yes, I have five from the 1980s and 1990s, all ex-corporate. Bought them more than 20 years ago when few had cottoned on to how good they were and none of them cost me more than three quid.
I bought a new Corsair K70 recently with cherry MX blue clicky switches, which has a nice feel and a USB connector, but still not as good as the buckling springs in the Model M.
