I notice on the CSP site there is no info about the ABS.
Currently states that the 2024 schedule ( for my org ) is 01/07/2024 - 26/07/2024 - but they haven't even published a schedule yet for 2025 - seems absurd when you think they have had nearly three months to assess the timelines....0 -

This thread is primarily about MyCSP, a private company. Who are presumably providing a service they expect to be making a profit from.

An update on my issues with dealing with the incompetence and negligence of MyCSP staff.
I'd originally received forms to complete last November in readiness for my 60th birthday in April and being entitled to my Civil Service pension. Duly completed and returned the forms, which I knew they had received as I sent them Tracked 48 I think it was. Binned the PO receipt since I knew they had them.
Imagine my surprise when no pension and no cash lump sum (10 days after 60th I should have received it). Left it a bit longer and tried to ring their 'helpline'. Eventually got through only to be told they never received them! Clown number 1 promised to send new forms out. Left it nearly 2 weeks and nothing. Rang again, this time just over an hour to get through only to be told by Clown number 2 that I needed to give it a bit longer due to Bank Holidays.
Rang a third time and went ballistic. Clown number 3 promised to email the forms later that day - never received them.
In between these calls I'd raised a complaint on the portal asking why I hadn't got the forms, why originals lost etc. and eventually weeks later someone replied, but they failed to sort the problem out or offer any answers and just asked if I wanted new forms. I replied but didn't hear anything more. It was just a box-ticking exercise to say that they had responded kind of thing.
Looked for the senior people at MyCSP on Google and found email addresses for the CEO Duncan Watson (duncan.watson @mycsp.co.uk) and Laura Best, a service director (laura.best@mycsp.co.uk) and finally things started to happen and very quickly indeed. New forms to complete were emailed to me. I completed and returned them Tracked 48 and within 2 weeks I received my pension, arrears and lump sum payment.
So if anyone else reading this has problems with MyCSP, I'd recommend emailing the above, it seems that they kicked some butts. Apparently they are conducting an investigation into what went wrong on 5 separate occasions.
Just hope Capita aren't as bad as these jokers and that they don't employ MyCSP staff0 -

LHW99 said:Capita takeover now delayed to March 2026Capita is still taking over in December, it is some Capita functionality that has been delayed until March 2026.From the report:
Capita is set to take over the administration of the scheme in December 2025...Capita has so far missed three key milestones in the transition to taking on the administration of the Scheme, leading to Cabinet Office withholding £9.6 million in transition payments. Delays to meeting these milestones have led Cabinet Office to agree a phased rollout with Capita, with greater functionality delayed until earliest March 2026.
