There are two thresholds, the AET and the CET.

The AET is currently £677, but expected to go up soon to £812, and then again in April to £892.

The CET (assuming your expected hours are 35, which is the starting point for people in your situation) is currently £1,580, going up in April to £1,735.

All figures are gross monthly earnings (but seemingly after any deductions for payroll giving).

The AET only applies if the earnings are earnings from employment, not self-employment.

If you reach the AET, you will not be expected to look for more work, or be available to take up more work. However, you will be expected to attend appointments with a work coach (this is new, and expected to start imminently).

If you reach the CET, you would be left alone completely.
