joining 2 ethernet cables together

I need a 10m long ethernet cable but could only get 2 x five metre ones, so I need a connection to join the two together.
I am just wondering if anyone could tell what the connection might be called?
I'm guessing it would look like the little white connection that you use for connecting 2 telephones together.
Also do you know where I would get this item?
thank you in advance

RJ45 connector and if you can wait till end of the week and PM me your address I can send you one0

And if you're running Fast or Gigabit Ethernet over the link, try to get one that's Cat5e or (better) Cat6 rated, as the shielding is much better.0

78p from Toolstation (SW Based)

it would be best no to use one of these. These connectors tend go faulty and because it was working for months is often the last place you would suspect so you often ens up changing driver etc (if you do not have the network testing tools).. Either purchase one or make one up yourself.GOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time.
