Happy February 😊
I am getting a kick out of saving and seeing that debt go down which is great.
Ive even earned 2p interest on each of my saving challenge accounts.
Will hopefully be able to start the month with a no spend day today, only planned spend day at the moment is Saturday as I am at the hairdressers.Freezer and cupboards full of food thanks to an Iceland shop and I managed not to partake in the husbands monthly takeaway last night so feeling good about being able to get the debt paid this year 😊
I will need milk at some point next week but have 2 loaves of bread in the freezer which should last me a couple of weeks.
Not a bad start to the year and long may it continue.
I hope everyone has a great February 😉Aim to pay off £13,000 by December 2024

4th February already and on 3/4 no spend days 😊 only spend day was yesterday which was at the hairdressers (I go every 4 weeks and not planning to stop this as it’s my only treat and me time) Spent the rest of the weekend catching up with work stuff so that I can be less stressed during the week - although did it whilst sat in front of the TV so it wasn’t any hardship and I actually love my job 99.9% of the time and feel much better for it. Have a £200 budget for this week but apart from my saving goals I don’t think I need to actually spend anything. Working from home all week due to the train strikes so hoping after my £1 a day savings challenge and my 52 week challenge the rest can go straight off the debt. I am so determined to get it paid off asap and then save 3-6 months of expenses in premium bonds as an emergency fund 😊 have a great week all 😉Aim to pay off £13,000 by December 2024
