Help! Another router prob!

Bought a Micradigital 802.11g ADSL Modem router last year sometime and it worked for about 4 months and then stopped. Not being a techie I could not see anything wrong. Signal strength was excellent and was saying ' connected but nothing so i left it. Now Santa bought me a PS3 so i need to get this working for the 'online gaming experience' which everyone is raving about. Any ideas?????????? :mad:
