NSL Stansted airport - definitely not our car

  • I think OP saw the statement “NSL part of Marston Holdings” on the ticket and leapt to the conclusion that the ticket was issued by Marston Holdings.
  • That’s right @troublemaker22 and @Coupon-mad.  I really thought it was a scam at first, so I was too wary about ringing the NSL number or using the link provided.  Marston Holdings looked legit so I contacted them first.  Many thanks @Coupon-mad, I’ll send you a DM.

I never knew NSL were Marston!

They deserve everything coming to them.   Awful misleading PCNs.

I'm not sure if I will receive an official email from NSL - an apology would be nice but I'm not holding my breath!  So, I think - hope - this has reached a satisfactory conclusion.
Check the status of your charge on their website. Maybe give it a couple of days for them to update it. Cancelled charges do not feature at the top of their inbox!  Good result, and well done on going for their jugular, so to speak. 👍

A quick update.  I lodged my appeal yesterday evening using @troublemaker22 's suggested wording, and added a request to view the raw images from their camera at the suggestion of @Coupon-mad .  After lodging my email I wrote to my local MP and Stansted airport.
About 10 minutes ago I received an email from my MP saying that they had made representations to NSL.  Then, about 5 minutes ago, I heard from Stansted airport to say that they have been notified by NSL that they have cancelled the charge, due to 'sending it in error'... I'm not sure if I will receive an official email from NSL - an apology would be nice but I'm not holding my breath!  So, I think - hope - this has reached a satisfactory conclusion.
Anyway, huge thanks to @troublemaker22 and @Coupon-mad for helping me with this.  You are doing the Lord's work!
    That's great news!

I hope Stansted are seriously questioning their contract with NSL after all the complaints.

Last week I followed up the BPA and DVLA complaint that I first lodged in July 2023 and got acknowledgements from both, including a promise from Gemma at the BPA to update me shortly as they have recently (apparently) 'made progress'...

In light of a recent thread on here about dvla complaints etc

Do NSL and Marstons still have a contract at Stansted   ?  Or is it now MET Parking   ?

    Plus

Does anybody know what the final outcome was with all those official complaints about no keeper lliability due to schedule 4 not applying at Stansted  ?  Which seems to be a focus regarding the other thread by Ldast   ? Especially airports and regarding the KADIE contract which the dvla and the BPA were obfuscating on  ?

    Thanks
