HMRC 30 item question

Just curious how HMRC would view a "job lot" listing of mixed new and used items. Would it be listed as 1 item?

It's literally just a threshold at which the online marketplace passes on your information, for HMRC to better pick up prior who aren't reporting trading income who should be. One job lot would be one item.
If you're trading then nothing has changed and you still need to register for self-assessment if you receive over £1,000 in a tax year for what you're selling.
If you're not trading, just selling unwanted personal items (or selling personal items that are wanted but you need the money more) then you don't need to do anything.2 -

HMRC have said nothing has changed.
