Is there such a thing as a free app or whatever for Chromebooks which will allow me to open a folder of images, drag/drop them into the order I want them in then rename them sequentially?

Can you provide an example of filename and the ideal outcome?
I do not know of an app to do that but it's easily done with a simple bash/shell script.1 -
Thank you, but I'm an ancient technophobe who really doesn't want to get into scripts and whatnot. There seem to be plenty of programs to do it on a Windows machine, but I haven't managed to find a Chromebook equivalent! We're all doomed0

If you aren't able to give an example and describe your outcome, perhaps you could mention some of these Windows apps. This would allow someone to recommend a Chrome alternative.1

Thanks, but requirement's just changed so no longer needed! Hopefully ...We're all doomed0
