Help please, havnt got a task bar or start button

title says it all really, no task bars are showing at the bottom, or the start button, how do i get them back please???

either drag them back on screen (if they are hidden at the bottom), or try ctrl atl del, task manager, new process , explorer

Does it pop up if you press the key with the window symbol on? (next to the CTRL key on the left side), if it does then auto hide may be on.

When the taskbar re-appears, right click it and click Properties,

Uncheck Autohide the Taskbar

Put your mouse over Right Hand and Left Hand borders.

It may have got moved to them.

I find that with auto-hide on, moving the cursor to the bottom of the window brings it back. But I usually have auto-hide off, and when the taskbar does not appear for some windows (particularly IE/Adobe Reader), then use the Windows button to get it.
