Is it worth to use shower flow restrictors?

HI,
Wonder if any one had some experience with shower flow restrictors. these are relatively cheap, just found them cost few pounds (Shower Flow Restrictors),but I heard that these may reduce the flow in the way that showering is not enjoyable any more. Also some reviewers say the water leaks from fittings after they have installed then, is it due to them being installed incorrectly or are these not suitable for all water systems? Is there any risk these can damage pump or boiler? Anyone also had a chance to count any savings these can provide? Thanks

I've got ones supplied free by my local water company - Dwr Cymru.
I honestly can't tell the difference in the flow.
I presume it does make a difference to the bill!0 -
Did you compare the bills? thaks0

Most posts on here about showers and water flow are people complaining that their shower is not strong enough !0

You can always turn the flow down yourself1
