So Energy 'So Rewarding'

Had an email today inviting me to sign up for the 'So Rewarding' demand flexibility scheme.

As part of the enrolment process it asks for the last 4 digits of the GUID from the smart meter display. Only problem is that my display has all sorts of numbers - Hub ID, Install Code, MAC address, Serial no - none of them labelled 'GUID'.

Had to call the helpline to discover that what they actually want is the last 4 digits of the MAC address.

Other So customers take note, it might save you a bit of hassle!

    For future references, its the long line of digits and letters in this sort of format (it may have all caps or more dashes separating the characters): 

    2f9cb1cc-a39f-49a8-a2cd-71be1b082de2

    It is usually on the bottom or the back of the IHD

    (the above is just made up, not my GUID)

    Bumping this up because I had an email from them yesterday to say they would be doing two sessions last night and to look out for more emails. And then absolutely nothing..

    Signed up a while  ago now to So Rewarding, and I’ve not heard  at all. Just wondered if anyone else has heard anything more since the initial sign up? All seems a bit of a waste of time at the moment.

    I got that email yesterday but it came after the ones inviting me to sign up for the sessions.

    I've also done a couple of others since joining the scheme in January. Not made any significant savings though.
