Does anybody know if the feed in tariff is going to rise in line with the current electricity tariff?

No, it raises in line with inflation. Every April if I recall correctly.

It will rise by the inflation rate to be announced on Jan 17th.
To be fair we have done pretty well the last couple of years, 13.4% last year and 7.5% the year before.

Krakkkers has posted the correct answer above.
It's worth noting that electricity is currently cheaper than it was this time last year, so "rising in line with the current tariff" would be a FIT reduction rather than an increase!

And for even more clarity it's the RPI rate that is used not the headline CPI that will be revealed on the news.
