MY husband and I have an IVA. We live with my mum. It's time to renew the house buildings & contents insurance. A lot of the companies ask if anyone at the address has been made bankrupt. Do we need to disclose the IVA as part of this?

You need to read the exact question/declaration and see if it applies... some insurers ask only about bankruptcy, you've not been declared bankrupt so that is fine, others include broader definitions of financial distress and for those you may not be eligible
