I lived down in Maidstone for 27 years, have only recently (Nov 2022) moved back home to London.
There are a few places I wouldn't want to live in, Like Shepway, Mangravet, Tovil, Senacre. There are some nicer areas such as Penenden Heath & Bearstead but I did find the whole town sort of chavvy, there are a lot of wannabe traveller types. Overall, I didn't mind it for the first 15 years, but then it just seemed to get worse. I really am not trying to run the place down but It may have been just me being wanting to move back to London.
"I am stoned" is an anagram of Maidstone, it seemed to fit.Corduroy pillows are making headlines! Back home in London now after 27years wait! Duvet know it's Christmas, not original, it's a cover.2
