Brita taps

I've never done much DIY work, but I did once change a washer for a washbasin tap.
So I thought I might try to change the O rings for a Brita tap.
I did a search for replacement O rings,
I could only see one supplier, and the price was about £9.
  SK23-S Single Spout O ring

This sounds a lot for two small O rings.
Are they so specialised that this price is necessary?

Would there be any bricks and mortar shops where I could get replacement O rings?

If 23 is 23 mm outer diameter, then measure the thickness and google for "23 mm O ring".

Tap magician have them for a mere £6...
Nothing special about them - any decent quality O ring should do, of the same size! Do you have (ideally) a micrometer in order to measure them?
Get some sili grease while you are at it.

Or if not take them to B AND Q as they sell packs of o rings ,if you have a local company that sells consumables for industry ( fan belts ,bearings ,seals etc ) they will possibly have a o ring kit and sell you some for a lot less.
They normally come in  either metric or imperial.

My apologies for the long delay in replying.

In looking at a couple of websites, the SK 23 doesn't seem to give the diameter of the o-rings.
So I'll have to take the tap apart to find out the size.

Yes, Tap Magician was the only site I saw with the code for the o-rings.
When you add on postage, the cost comes to £9.

After taking the tap apart, I could go to B&Q if I don't see anything on the web before then.

If you haven’t already sorted it, take it to your plumbers merchants. Mine have a big subdivided tray of loose O rings in various sizes, last time I needed a couple they gave them for nothing as they couldn’t be bothered to put them through the till.

I've now found that I have two separate leaks and so will need to do more than just change the o-rings.
I'm tempted to use Tap Magician as they have all the spare parts for the Brita taps.
