Smile Direct Club Payments

Hi,

Wondered if anyone could help me regarding my payment plan with smile direct club who have filed for bankruptcy. I am currently on a payment plan until 2025 with them however with them being bankrupt I am not sure whether to cancel my direct debts? Can I cancel due to the company being unable to fulfil their promise of offering a “lifetime smile guarantee” or do I have to continue paying even though the company no longer exists?

Thank you in advance

There's another thread about this.  I think it depends on who you're paying.  If you're paying a company who've already paid SDC then it's possible that you can't reasonably stop paying, because you do owe that company.

Who are you paying and what sort of finance/loan is it?
