You are assuming that any issues will be covered by warranty. Which wear & tear may not be.

S75 is not a insurance policy to cover everything.
As I said before they have offered what they believe is the cost of the warranty ins policy £190. Which is pretty generous & you may never have any further issues.
You may even find that the door is also covered under your house insurance for problems.

Ours electric garage door is over 20 years old & has never had any issues.👌

But OP is unable to locate a provider of such policies, so can't buy one at that notional value.

As OP's door has already had one issue, it's not unreasonable to be more cautious, and to anticipate a higher than average likelihood of one or more others arising in future.
