My son finally got a full refund and a very lack lustre apology after he sent a registered letter to Amazon HQ in London as he got no joy through customer services. He addressed it to the CEO. This finally did the trick. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales3

I would suggest you start your own new thread with details of what has happened and what you have done so far.1 -
I sympathise massively. Thanks for sharing your journey and tips on securing a refund.
Just happened to me with an iPhone15 plus missing from the box, also directly from Amazon. The crazy thing was that the iPhone box seals were unbroken suggesting it must have been in their warehouse somewhere. I know they also sell refurbs so their warehouse probably has the ability to professionally reseal iPhone boxes as if they were new. If they had a better weight verification system throughout their supply chain, this should have been flagged as too light before it even reached me...
Just reported it to the police and am waiting for them to get back to me with a police report, only then has Amazon said they will consider my case.
I also tried to leave a review on the Amazon iPhone product page explaining the situation, and despite not being rude, moderators censored me and wouldn't let me post it which is pretty shocking!0
