    It would be impossible to rent a property round here other than social housing on these rates. In my own case, based on the indicative figures, it's a £176.50 pcm shortfall. And that's now. It's likely to go up later this year.

    Anyone that moves / looking to move into private rental know the LHA isn't a true reflection on actual rent.

  • There are no 1 bed flats in our area for what the LHA is, nowhere near, you're looking at shared houses or studios for that amount!
