I've won tons of prizes with these comps. I enter the ones I want on a daily basis, but I remember that some have said they've won when they've only entered once. Best comping tip I've heard over the years is, enter - and then forget about it.

I think I've had beginners luck - only started comping again on 1/1/2024 and won something on Monday from the women's health magazine - I bet I won't win again now for a very long time especially as I got a cheque yesterday in the post for £500 for a win from a different magazine.4

I've won a couple of times a year from Mag Dailies, last year I won a holiday to the canaries with Womens Own.
I'd say just keep ploughing on3 -

I won a £50 voucher from House Beautiful a few weeks ago. I've won quite a few things over the years from the daily mag comps although not as much recently1

I won a Product of the Year goody bag last year through Life Death Prizes, I enter those types of comps sporadically and only ever do 1 entry as due to my working hours i do not get chance to do them every day.
So yes, one entry can win.2 -

I have entered 99% of these since late 2020 (that means literally thousands) and have never won a sausage.
Before I think they are a con, has anyone else won anything from these competitions?
After entering thousands of these MD competitions, I finally won one this month.
Interestingly, MAKU explained in the email with the voucher code that there were 35,000 entries to the competition (Good Housekeeping alone).
Just thought you may be interested in the numbers.

@King_Mustard That's great. Congratulations and enjoy your win. Thank you for coming back to this thread to tell us about it, and yes, the number of entries thing is interesting.

I only enter them once, but I've managed to win three or four times over the last few years. I received £50 worth of Remeo gelato earlier this week from a Good Housekeeping one. They managed to deliver it on the wrong day, when I was out, but despite being left for several hours on the doorstep it hadn't melted.'...luck came to those who left a space for it.' Just thought you may be interested in the numbers.I'm not at all surprised that there were 35,000 entries to win a pair of slippers ( x 5 ).These 'Mag Daily' comps require virtually no skill and attract people to come back and enter them each and every day. They can be entered rapidly but I'm sure some entrants who are spending many hours of their day going through the whole lists of comps being run on all the different magazines that run them. It makes me wonder if its really worth the effort?'When 'Mag Daily's ' feature decent prizes such as Holidays etc then they may even be getting even more entries than that 35,000 figure quoted for just a pair of slippers! If you really value your time then I think you stand more chance of winning the more usual comps where you are only allowed to enter it ONCE and ONCE only.1
