Now expired ~ offer on baskets ~ next year ~ be quick

Not sure if this should be in the Grab it forum, but wanted to let you all know
argos have great baskets on offer, they were before christmas £14.99 for 3 buy one set get one free so therefore 6.
They are now in the sale at £7.49 for the set of 3 and although at first this seems like exactly the same price, when I reserved them and went to collect them they came up buy one get one free at the checkout therefore the 6 for £7.49:j . This is not stated beside the item online and not sure if it is in all stores but worth a try.
The store was Newtownabbey in N.Ireland and item number is 875/2800.
Hope this helps anyone wanting to get baskets for hampers.

P.S -Just realised there is another thread about this, and some stores would not honor it, my receipt had it printed on it and I got the 6 for £7.49. This was on 7/1/08.

I ordered 6 sets and paid £14.98, never got any confirmation but I havemissed a delivery today of 6 items so fingers crossed I have got the deal. Will check my bank tonight to see how much Homebase have taken.

Fingers crossed I get it. I got some of these at the full price from argos before christmas & they are really nice. not sure what I needed 9 packs for lol but believe me with 4 children I'm sure I can put them to good use

Thats funny, its saying instock for me.

Says they're in stock all the way up to putting in your card details and clicking pay. Then it's shows the processing order screen, after that it tells you they're not in stock.
