Need help regarding PCN received

we have been issued a PCN on the basis that our
vehicle was parked on private property without displaying a parking permit.
To provide some background on the private property parked on; it is a gated parking area that is situated underneath the flat that we currently rent that is for residence only. We currently pay £100 a month to park in this gated parking area, which we have consistently done since August last year. As mentioned the area is gated and residence are unable to access this parking area without having an electric key to open the gates. The only way to access this key is through arranging your parking with the buildings reception and them providing you with the key upon first payment. Without this payment you are unbale to receive an electric key and as a result unable access the gated parking area.
I share the car with my partner so cannot be 100% sure who used the car last and where the permit would have been placed at the time of the fine. They have provided some images to show there is no permit displayed at the front of the car but it may have been displayed at the rear. The only image they have for the back of the car is the rear number plate. I'm not sure this helps in anyway.
It would be great if someone could provide some advice when it comes to appealing this as I already pay £100 a month to park here and feel its very unjust to fine me with an extra £100.

There are no trespassers to deter.
You DON'T have a fine.
You will not be paying this, regardless if the lack of genuine appeals system.
Who do you pay that £100 pm to?
Is it a HA property or a private landlord flat?
Show us the PCN (both sides) covering any QR code and your car images & your data but leave ALL DATES VISIBLE.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You will get away with it on the forum but in submitting appeals or legal documents (such as defences) to the court or CNBC it is important to use correct spelling._mm98 said:To provide some background on the private property parked on; it is a gated parking area that is situated underneath the flat that we currently rent that is for residence residents only.
