If you're an out of contract Sky Mobile customer, you'll see prices rise by £1 to £3 a month – £12 to £36 a year – from Wednesday 14 February. But you don't have to accept the hikes – you can try to haggle or leave penalty-free.

Can MSE ask Sky to confirm if old data accrued from April 2021 to March 2024 will be lost on the 1st April. As I asked Sky and the advisor spoke to his manager when I questioned this and they stated that all old data would expire in 2025, so you would have a year to use it.1

I spoke to sky today and was told the same about them expiring in 12 months from 1 April 2025. I asked them if I rolled all piggy bank data onto phone at end of March 2025 (before it expires) would the unused data then be re added to my piggybank in April when billing is done. They said yes it would be re added with a new start date! Would be good to know if this is correct.1

After reading your info on sky mobile price increase Feb 2026, on your suggestion, I’ve just haggled with Sky about my bill. I’m currently paying £10.50 a month. It was going to be increased to £12.00. I could get the same package with Lebara for the equivalent of £3.10 a month. However, Sky has increased my data from 4 GM ( I usually use under 3 so that’s nots an issue) to 10GM and reduced the monthly payment to £5.00 for the next 24 mths. So still slightly more than Lebara but I can live with that. A win win I think. Thanks!0
