V5 change and outstanding fines

I made a mistake and forgot to update my v5 form. My drivers licence was up to date. (I know I made a mistake trust me! My question is if I have any fines etc in that time they would’ve gone to my old address. Now I’ve updated it will anything e.g (reminder letters if I have got a fine)  start coming to my new address (or will they just go to the address it originally sent to). I just want to know if there is anything outstanding so I can sort it as it makes me very anxious! I’ve looked online and I can’t find any way to check this information so I guess the only way is to wait and see if anything comes to my new address? Thank you in advance

    Hello and welcome.

You can ask the DVLA for the details of everyone who has sought the registered keeper information from them for that vehicle between the date you moved and the date your V5c was corrected.
Send them a SAR - a Subject Access Request - and include a copy of the front page of your current V5c as proof of identity.

What about putting in place a Royal Mail re-direction arrangement. I believe you can purchase up to a two years' service.

Do you know if they are able to include details of who it was or just basic information saying eg ‘private company regarding parking’?

You ask which companies, Police or Local Authorities (if any) have accessed my DVLA data between these dates. There is no fee to pay and they must tell you.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The thing to be most worried about is that you may have had a NIP sent to your old address from the police for a speeding or other traffic offence and have an outstanding fine and 6 points on your licence for failing to nominate the driver. You  should check you licence for points you might not be aware of.
