Longshot. Can anyone recognise Mirrorine please?

I was given this bottle many years ago. It's full and still seems viable as liquid and no sediment.
I can't find anything on the net which is surprising and my problem is 'mixed with the colours' - what sort of paint should be used.
I'd like to paint on glass. I have a leaded front door window that I can't stand and would like to do something to pep it up.

No idea!
But wonder if you could try a drop with different artists paint such as oil or water colour. it is clearly pre -acrylic but that might be worth a try. Coloured ink?
of course you also need to experiment to see if it will paint onto a vertical surface without running if you want to paint onto a window.
Failing that have a look at Pebeo Vitrail
Is there a manufacturer's name on the label?Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything! --
Many thanks

Oil colours - doesn't it say for painting in oils? See also top right of page link below. But definitely do a trial first as that sort of thing can go off given a century or so!

Katie I hadn't thought of inks..............think it may be too thin for that. But yes, process of elimination not poster colour or acrylics maybe.Even Gouache is possible. But oil paint seems the best start.Love the link Theoritica - but couldnt' read it. And I tried.I bought a Book of Needlework 1920s with all the old workings and patterns. Trouble was, you would know what the abreviations and such were at that time and now not so much.Too much daily nonsense to deal with but I'll try some research on crafts maybe rather than brand and see what turns up.Thanks very much both. Grateful for getting me thinking........

Thanks Katie.
I've got some oils - always knew they'd come in useful.
And a spare bit of glass.

If you draw a box round it with the scissor icon (at least on the browser I am using) the optical character recognition comes up with its best shot:We have yet another medium to bring under the notice of our readers this is Mirrorine to be used with oil colours for painting on mirrors crys talline glass opals glass terra cotta wood lin crusta fire screens etc The thorough mixing of the colour with the medium on the palette is as es sential as with the tapestry medium to ensure a good glaze smoothness when working and a hard ness of the colours when dry China plates vases & c may be painted most successfully and very fine reproductions may be made of ancient pottery wares without the risk of firing Of course china thus painted is only intended for ornament not for general use as although it may be washed it will not stand constant washing such as is needed for articles in domestic use Mirrorine Medium is 1s per bottle and 3d postage

Wow!
I could decorate pots as well. I can see this getting right out of hand .
I used to paint china for a living for a while so the mixing I understand.
Just need to get domestic nonsense out of my life as it gets in the way.viral kindness .....kindness is contageous pass it on
