Thanks @pate-ci0 That makes sense, and thanks loads for posting a pic. But how stoopid that they makes it so hard, to do something that seems so basic to the platform. If that's done deliberately to encourage us to download the app, they should display a 'stories' button, which should tell you to 'click here to install the app to use this function'.

I agree. Instagram was conceived and designed for mobile devices, not desktops or laptops, and I guess was deliberately made so that full functionality only came through installation of the appropriate app (perhaps with payment in mind and/or full control over upgrading without being limited to browser capabilities). However, the Internet is accessible through many platforms and it is annoying that browser access is so limited.

But I Googled it today and I don't think it is the same thing. I found where to find my stories. I'm supposed to have a circle around my profile picture to click, but I haven't got that.
