UKPC parking charge whilst working on site

Hi
Looking for some advice on appealing a parking charge from UKPC (issued 16/12/23):
(h t t p s://ibb.co/tcRCL9y)
The driver was attending Asda Living (working as a subcontractor there for one shift) at the Crown Point shopping centre at the time of the "offence". The driver, along with other subcontractors on site, handed over their car registration details to a staff member to put on their system. Unfortunately this was not done for whatever reason and now a parking charge has been issued to the keeper.
The driver has called the Asda in question, but as the details weren't on their system and they don't own the car park, they couldn't help. Next stop was Crown Point themselves, but they just directed the driver to appeal to UKPC.
The evidence the driver has of being there in a work capacity is a pdf sign off, including the name and signature of the duty manager of the Asda Living at the time.
My question is: should the keeper appeal via UKPC's web site with the template in the faq's / sticky, and / or include evidence / explanation of why the driver was there?
I am aware it is best not to name the driver.
Thanks

If you are at the final reminder stage then you are probably too late to appeal using the UKPC portal. You could try appealing by post but don't be surprised if it is ignored or rejected for being too late.
The NTK looks to be PoFA complaint to me, meaning the keeper can be held liable, so I don't think it would hurt if you did reveal the driver's identity at some point, and if it got to court I think it would actually help. For now though, stick to the template in blue text but add that the driver was authorised to park and therefore there was no breach of parking terms.
You should complain to your employer and the manager and CEO of ASDA and ask them to intervene since your employer placed you in this situation, and ASDA failed to keep their side of the bargain, thus causing a frustration of contract. You were unable to comply with the Ts and Cs because ASDA failed to properly record and process your permit/permission to park.
Get photos of the site and signage if possible because UKPC signs are always inadequate and fail to meet the BPA CoP requirements.

Crown Point will cancel it for you. They have done for posters who ask the managing agents. Seen it several times. Be polite and they'll step in.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
