|There was this SOny Vaio T7100 pink colour whcih i found for £580 but can't seem to locate it anymore... can someone help pls?

Also Im thinking of buying a laptop from America and just giftwrapping it and sending it to my cousin in Pk... will i still have to pay customs tax on this? I mean it is a gift after all... and worse comes to worse i can get my other cousin to buy it herself (i pay her back) and she send it to Pk as a gift... [So basically i want to find a way i can get a laptop out of USA without paying any costs associated with logistics...

Samsung R20
Acer [Lx.Tjrox.127]
Fujitsu siemens: manufacturer #: VFY:EM7BV5505BH6GB

Advice please :) Annnddd Merry Xmas to all :T

Buying and sending high value items from the US will always attract attention. The only way I know people have been able to get stuff through is when they have sent items to the US for repair orto the UK from the US for repair. ;)

Even Gifts are only allowed to be of a value up to £18 so anyhting above that will get stopped for VAT and customs. I'm not sure about the import to PK but they will have a similar thing.

The only way is to deliver the laptop by hand carrying it on a plane as if it is yours, not wrapped or anything. You could risk putting a low value on the customs lable but if it was to go missing you can't then claim for £580 worth of laptop as you said it was <£18 to avoid paying customs fees.

Also to point out it wont be you that pays the fee's it is the recipient.
