Cahoot Simple Saving Application - Equifax Verification Failed

I've been trying to get my kids signed up with some decent saving accounts, moving their money about each year as various 12 month terms revert to pants interest rates.

My daughter has just tried applying for the Cahoot Simple Saver account online, but was unsuccessful due to an equifax verification failure. She is 17, lived in UK all her life, current address for 2 years (Scotland) and is on the electoral register. Obviously, being under 18, she has no credit accounts, but does have debit and savings accounts with TSB and has had prior accounts with Halifax and Coop.

Any ideas how to proceed here?

Or recommendations for other savings accounts with good rates, that can be opened online or have branches near Stirling, Scotland, or post without need to pay for verified docs etc? Many options seem such a faff to open accounts.
