It doesn't specify whether that is the total cost to the household or what I contribute to the rent. My wife pays most of it as she earns more than me and I just give her money each month. I don't know what it wants me to put if anyone can advise0

I applied last night. I then completely forgot that about a month ago i received a letter from mbna saying someone had fraudulently tried to open an account in my name. It said I don't need to do anything it's been blocked and reported but it may take up to 60 days to update on my credit file. I'm worried now that this will impact my chances of virgin approving the balance transfer. When I did the initial soft search on their website it said 90% pre approval rate.
I checked my credit report through mse credit club and there are two searches showing both from 6/11/2023. Will they see those and might decide to decline? I'm panicking a bit now0 -
If you applied last night, too late to stress now - worst case they say no and you wait a month or two and try again
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
