THE FA CUP FINAL PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

 

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the Prize Draw period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

 

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw. 

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

• Prize Draw in relation to FA Cup Final programme (the “Programme”) opens for entries via SMS, post and online via the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Thursday 4 January 2024.
• Prize Draw closes for entries via SMS and online at 10.00am on Monday 22 April 2024. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Thursday 25 April 2024.

 

Winner selection & contact: 

 

• The draw will take place within twenty-four (24) hours of the closing date and time for all entries.
• Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.  
• The prize is time critical and the winner will be contacted in accordance with Clause 5.2 of the ITV General Competition, Vote and Poll Terms.  All entrants must be contactable Thursday 25 April 2023 and for two (2) working days after.

 

How to enter & cost of entry:

 

• SMS text – you will have the choice between the two (2) following options:

 

1. Standard entry: send an SMS text with the keyword GOAL or WINNER to 82223. Each chargeable SMS text entry costs £2.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you one (1) entry into the Prize Draw (“Standard Entry”). Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). For each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers.

 

2.   Bundle entry: send a SMS text with the keyword FIVE (or the following variations F1VE, FIVER, FAVE, FVE, £5, 5) or OFFER to 82223. The chargeable SMS text entry costs £5.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you five (5) entries (“Bundle Entry”). This will replace the Standard Entry and will only be available on your first entry within the Prize Draw period. Following the Bundle Entry, for each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a ‘buy one entry get one entry free’ offer.

 

If you choose the Standard Entry as described in paragraph 1 above, you may make up to fifteen (15) Standard Entries in total per phone number. If you choose the Bundle Entry, as described in paragraph 2 above, you may make up to thirteen (13) entries in total (including one (1) Bundle Entry and up to twelve (12) additional Standard Entries) per phone number. 

 

Please note that SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged (where applicable). If you do not want to receive marketing texts about similar products and services, please add NO INFO at the end of your text entry.

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time as stated on the Website.

By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Prize Draw will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. Prize: 

 

There is one (1) prize of £60,000 and hospitality tickets to the FA Cup Final at Wembley, London. 

 

(i) £60,000 cash

 

This element of the prize consists of £60,000 (sixty thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only. 

 

 

(ii) Tickets to the FA Cup Final

 

This element of the prize consists of four (4) hospitality tickets for the winner and up to three (3) companion(s) to attend the FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium, London, on Saturday 25 May 2024 (“Tickets”). The Tickets include seats in the membership area Number Nine, access to hospitality 3h pre-kick off and 1h post-match, food and drink. 

 

It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their companion(s) are available to take the prize on Saturday 25 May 2024. 

 

The prize also includes travel allowance of £250 (two hundred and fifty pounds) per person, which will be made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only (“travel allowance”).

 

Where the winner’s companion is aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

 

The winner and their companion acknowledge that in the event that FA Cup Final does not take place as specified for any reason, the Promoter does not accept responsibility in these circumstances and no alternative prize will be provided.

 

The prize excludes accommodation, transportation, meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, travel insurance and personal expenses (other than the travel allowance as specified above).
