I volunteer for my parish council and am trying to find a saving account for some temporary surplus reserves which has 3% + interest and relatively easy access eg not locking down for more than 3 months.

All the accounts business accounts I have found tend to exclude Public AuthoritiesLloyds offer business savings accounts for Parish councils. Although that is typically only if the current account is run with them as well. The rate is rubbish unless its £10k plus.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
May not be suitable as I think their lowest risk offer is a money market fund not a pure savings account but there is a body which specialises in savings for charities, churches, and local councils (very much including towns and parishes): https://www.ccla.co.uk/
