Hi @Boatiebella, how's the no spend January going? I've joined the January No Spend Days challenge on another thread here, and have set myself a target of 20 no spend days for the month. It's really making me think about wants vs needs (trying to spend on necessities and gearing myself up for decluttering as well).

@cardriver98 I've seen a few people on Instagram with frugal year / no spend year accounts, and that's my next challenge. Did you have any specific rules about what you classed as essentials? I think an extended period of mindful spending on only necessities will help me prepare for my planned retirement in a couple of years' time.
