Virgin Atlantic flights to Israel

We have April flights to Israel booked via an agent. Virgin Atlantic have cancelled all flights until mid-March. Their app says you can request a refund if you booked direct. Can anyone please tell me whether they are always agreeing to refund tickets booked through agents for Aprilish?

from their website they are allowing refunds for flights booked up until 31st March 2024 currently
It also says "If you booked through a travel agent, please contact your travel provider directly to discuss your options as we are unable to process changes made by a third-party company."

I suspect if you were to cancel now it would be as per the fare rules. If/when the waiver is extended through to your travel dates you would need to speak to your agent. They may well be able to request a refund from Virgin at that point although you may lose some service fees..you would need to check the agent t&cs

@aroominyork you'll just have to wait for Virgin's decision as to their plans going forward from April.

Whatever happens you will need to do the necessary via your agent and they may well charge for their services.

Thanks - I missed the 31 March condition. I spoke with the travel agent who was, however, able to cancel the tickets for a £125 fee per ticket. I didn't actually want to cancel - just move the date - so cancelling and rebooking will work out cheaper than £275 to change the date. I'm not sure whether Virgin are being more flexible, given the conflict, than their website suggests, or our tickets were less restricted than I thought.
