You might want to edit the title to assist those searching for ETIAS, although the news of the latest delay took a fair while to reach Bristol as it was widely publicised elsewhere in November!

I was a little confused as I thought it had been delayed again (though I wouldn’t have been surprised) but it’s just a rehash of the announcement that came out in Oct. Phew!!0

https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias-timeline-explained-2023-11-24_enIt took a fair time to reach the local outback here as well - I only clocked it by chance on a "news" article online a week or so ago !!!We are exempt the fees due to having reached the old farts age range, so it wasn't top of the agenda.Apologies to anybody else in advance.0 -
I’d welcome the fees just to stop them filling up my passport with stamps.0

I suspect most of the current population will be over 70 by the time it is finally introduced.

I am approaching 61 now and part of me thinks it will be delayed long enough.... (even better if we were to rejoin before then) !TELLIT01 said:NoodleDoodleMan said:No fee if 70 or older and under 18 - as previously advised.

Looks like your worst case scenario could be 3 x 7 € ?katejo said:

For anybody interested in checking the requirement details, regardless if previously flagged up here, or not.

To be fair that site does lay it out reasonably clearly, but just to clarify, it's an unofficial one run by an American company, the authoritative official site being the EU one linked further upthread - given the number of unauthorised sites that spring up to manage the likes of ESTA applications (for excessive fees), it's always best to be vigilant when it comes to copycat sites aiming to present themselves as being more official than they are....NoodleDoodleMan said:For anybody interested in checking the requirement details, regardless if previously flagged up here, or not.1 -
