seville oranges 2024

Hello all

I've just been given a heads up that Morrison's have them in.  1kg bags @ £2 a bag.

Said in jest but it is true - witnessed with my own eyes one December a few years back. I much prefer sweeter marmalades such as this, but haven't seen it for ages:

ETA Got oranges from Morrisons; they had plenty BUT they have changed the packaging - gone are the distinctive green nets - I ended up asking an assistant as I couldn't 'see' them!

ahhh thank you @Valli - I, hopefully, will be able to pick up a couple of kg tomorrow as I will be close to a Morrisons supermarket. Planning on getting the marmalade made over the w/e if orange supplies still available..

I always liked the Rose's orange marmalade but that seems to have been discontinued

@sarah1972 that is a work of art!!

 I also have 2kg of oranges to slice - better go and sharpen the knives...

Don't mess about shredding the oranges with a knife.
Put them through a mincer with the coarse blade in.
