If a cupboard is getting misty or mouldy, then absolutely keep its doors open as much as possible.A closed wardrobe will still have moist air seeping into it, which will condense out on any cold surface, and with little chance of it being evaporated away with a good airflow.Edit: Ah, I meant there is no need - it serves no purpose, and would be far more space-consuming and complex - to have a ventilated gap behind the insulation layer.0
