Mould on tiles

I have metro white tiles with grey grout but get alot of mould showing. It’s ruled into of tiles. Had a few crazy quotes people saying water getting in but it’s already tiled under breath. And somebody wanted to use Perflex. I hoped to switch to white grout but some said they can do it some can’t as it could damage tiles. Any advice?

"It’s ruled into of tiles."? "it’s already tiled under breath"?
Have you tried using a mould remover - something like the HG brand? I use it for occasional mould problems. I find that it's effective and long lasting. Other brands are available of course.

If you have mould in your bathroom, it means it's not properly ventilated /moisture isn't being extracted effectively.
The HG spray is excellent for getting rid of mould and I've had success with versions from Dettol and Astonish - but none of them will stop the mould reoccurring, for that you need to look at the ventilation.

you could also try a window squeegee to wipe the tiles after a shower.
+1 for HG mould spray.
It may damage the tile edges when trying to remove old grout.1 -
I find the Astonish heavy duty cleaner even better than HG and much cheaper. Note this is not the standard stuff ill post a pic of both bottles.above is the extra strengthStandard stuff belowIs it in a kitchen btw?

The non-standard stuff Mr.Generous refers to is often available in TKMaxx. We find it also very efficient.

Will using the above products damage the grout?

It won't damafe the grout but the mould will return if you don't address the problem that is causing it.

As previously pointed out, check you have sufficient ventilation in your bathroom. Also if soapy splashes are left on the tiles these can support mould growth. Once you have cleaned the tiles with the products already recommended, make sure you clean down after each shower, even washing down with the cold shower spray could be enough (hot water is pricey!).0
